Unable to edit content – content does not show in edit screen

  I can view my site, and the dashboard. However, when I click on a page or post to edit it, nothing displays inside the edit field. Others in my organisation are also having this problem, but not when accessing the site from another location (ie. off this computer network).
  Does anyone know what sorts of IT system issues could cause this to happen, so I can contact our IT people with clues for things to look for?

  What browser and version are you using? Make sure your workplace has whitelisted WordPress.com; sometimes they block blogging sites so you stay “productive”.

  Thanks raincoaster. I’ve got IE8 and Chrome, and the issue is happening with both browsers. It may be that IT has blocked the site, though I would have assumed I wouldnt’ be able to see the dashboard if all if that was the case (or these forums, even).

  You would if they’d whitelisted only some of it. Quite frequently, for instance, ISPs will block imageservers for some reason.
