Unable to edit copyright area

I am trying to add additional text to the copyright area, and cannot find where to access it. Footer uses legacy widgets. Any suggestions? Or suggestions to add a separate text box? I’ve tried adding additional css in the appearance–>customize area, but it will not show. Thanks!
