Unable to edit post address

    Good evening,

    Thanks for all the work you’re doing keeping WordPress up and running and updating it with new features! It looks like there’s been an update to the post editor recently and I can’t edit my post addresses anymore.

    Since my post titles contain a mix of English and Japanese characters, I need to be able to edit the post address to take the Japanese characters out to avoid my links turning into a bunch of % signs (it’s only aesthetic, but still…).

    Any chance that this is just a bug and will be rectified soon? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Totally understandable. And you can still edit the permalinks — they’ve just moved a bit. Have you looked under the Document tab > Permalinks?

    It should be an option on the right.

    Thanks for your reply! I had a closer look at the Document tab and, lo and behold, there was the permalink option. The solution was so simple in the end, thanks again!
