Unable to Edit Section In Elementor
-
Hi,
I am using a Elementor template. I customized the Hero Section, and Intro Section of the Template yesterday. The Site looked fine.
Today, the Site still looked the same, however, I was not able to edit the sections in the Elementor editing mode.
The Customized Hero and Intro sections are uneditable (Not clickable) and do not show up in the Navigator.
The Original (Uncustomized) Hero and Intro sections have been duplicated and appeared at the bottom of the page, and that’s what the Hero and Intro sections on the Navigator lead to.
I could still click on the Original (Uncustomized) Hero and Intro sections, and edit them. The changes show up in the ‘Preview Changes’ in Elementor edit mode. But after updating, The actual site does not apply any changes in any section.
I am not able to find any resources and useful information on his issue.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

And note, the Original (Uncustomized) Hero and Intro sections have been customized, so there’s only 1 copy of the sections, and it’s not supposed to appear twice on the page.
Any insights and help would be very so helpful!

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host box5122.temp.domains on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions. You can learn more about the performance and security benefits of our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at your current provider. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. Prerequisites The Move to WordPress.com plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. All incompatible plugins deactivated on the self-hosted site. ✅ There is no need to create a site on WordPress.com before you get starUnfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help.
Thanks!

I can’t find it via dashboard, also the website URL shows “The site cannot be reached”. I don’t know what the problem is.

It seems your domain expired on 17 July and was reinstated today 22 July. Usually DNS changes will propagate within a few hours, but it can take up to 48 hours for everything to propagate across the Internet. It can take some time before your domain is back online.
