Unable to edit the widgets that are on my page.

    I’m trying to update my page. I have a few text archives but the only one I can edit has been the widget I called categories. I can’t even figure out where to delete the text widgets. I can’t drag them because they don’t show up in the widgets page. I created this page a few years ago and haven’t been following all the updates. When I did add widgets all the content that was on the sidebar disappeared and pushed the widget down the page. I’ve been trying to find the answer here but maybe some options have changed? http://www.everyonehasone.com

    Hi Judith,

    I took a look at your site, and all of the widgets which are appearing on your sidebar are there because the theme which you’ve chosen require at least one widget. If there isn’t at least one, then it substitutes those default widgets which are there now.

    If you’d like to get rid of what’s there now, you’ll need to put at least one widget there. It can be as simple as the text widget with a space (which will show as only a white space).
