Unable to edut permalink to post

  I entered a wrong date in a post title today which I was able to edit and save the change.After correcting the title I went to edit the permalink so it would match, and was able to correct the error – but when I clicked “OK” to save it did not take/save the correction. Tried it several times. Any ideas? Thanks
