Unable to embed Fluidsurveys code in .com blog page
-
I’m having difficulty getting the embed code from Fluidsurveys to display on the public end. I’ve already contacted Fluidsurveys to see if the issue was on their end, and unfortunately, they’re showing that it’s an issue with the two tools (their embed tool and your text tool). They recommended I contact you to see if you’re able to assist or provide a work around!
Just want to embed a simple (one question) survey from Fluidsurveys onto this page. http://passthebookdurham.wordpress.com/vote/
As you can see – no survey. I’ve played with a few things, but this is the standard display. Worst case scenario I’ll set up a full re-direct to the Fluidsurveys site, but do think the embedded survey would be a much prettier option.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Third party code cannot be installed on WordPress.com sites. This is a security risk as we cannot vet all outside code and it puts our users, their sites, and our servers at risk.
Plugins and outside codes are only usable on self-hosted WordPress.org sites.
I know the difference between .com and .org can get confusing, so here’s a breakdown of the benefits of each:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/Sometimes, even without the installation of outside code, we can help you gain the function you’d like here at WordPress.com. If you let me know your goals, perhaps I can help further.
As you mentioned:
Worst case scenario I’ll set up a full re-direct to the Fluidsurveys site, but do think the embedded survey would be a much prettier option.
If you need to use Fluidsurveys, you’ll have to link to their site.
It is possible to embed a PollDaddy survey into your WordPress.com site, however:

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Thanks for the assistance – shame there can’t be more flexibility allowed, but there are other options I suppose, although not as pretty as a proper embed would have been!

I understand. I wish I could be of more help on this!
If there’s a feature/embed that you’d like allowed on WordPress.com sites, you can add it to the Ideas Forum:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas
At the very least, there will be a record of your desire for this type of embed, and if enough of our population gets behind it, our worldwide network of developers will take note.
Thanks much.
