  Unable to embed from mogulus.com . it shows up in the preview , but when i go to publish it’s not there?
  I have tried a bunch of times with no luck.
  No problem embedding from youtube .

  That’s right. Youtube is one of the approved platforms for embedding. Mogulus isn’t. The list of approved formats is available in the FAQ under “Video”. No other formats will work UNLESS they are embedded in the Vodpod widget.

  I get the same problem for uploading PowerPoint’s from AuthorSTREAM. I don’t know what to do either.

  Use the Vodpod widget; you can put powerpoints in that or, I believe, Slideshare.

  Hmm…I have these animations on my PowerPoints that dont work in SlideShare. So AuthorStream is the only one i can use, but i noticed SlideShare has its own ‘wordpress’ embed. Is it possible to use AuthorStream embeds on WordPress without a 3rd party plugin like VodPod? Cause i have a bunch I wanna upload but VodPod will just be annoying…i’m lazy :P

  Do a search for Powerpoint: I’m pretty sure Universalgeni has written a few threads on it.

  Vod:Pod is no longer just for the VodPod widget. They have upgraded the feature and now you can use the VodPod system to display embeds on pages and posts as well.

  All sorts of slideshows, games, documents can now be embedded and displayed. Game features can get lost, however, but most work.

  Embeds from mogulus.com works like a charm if you copy/paste the url for MySpace to the VodPod window. I’m broadcasting Looney Tunes Network live from my blog right now: http://universalgeni.wordpress.com/2008/03/12/mogulus-%c2%bb-channel-%c2%bb-looneytunesnetwork/

  To be able to do all this?

  Install the Vod:Pod button and register as a user at their site.

  This thread is about PowerPoint pps and ppt presentations. If you don’t need music issuu is far the best because they allow us to embed full screen functions. Any slideshow host will perform on our blogs nowadays after the big Vod:Pod upgrade. However the slideshows that WP officially recommend in the FAQs for ordinary embed are also under some formal service in the form of staff support. They can’t service the whole world.   There might be a problem here. Some of these live broadcasts have commercials. I don’t like commercials and WP have that policy too.

  I’m going to delete that cartoon post on my blog in a day or so for that reason. I will leave it sitting for the rest of the evening until the thread disappears from the forum front-page.
