Unable to export posts

Hi there, I need to upgrade my site’s theme and i’m trying to export all content from my old site to new site (localhost for now). But every time I try to export anything (posts, media) it fails with 404 Not Found error, i could only export pages so far. I got heaps of posts and i believe my browser is not able to handle this.
Can you please help?

As the site is hosted locally, we can’t help ultimately (currently). It sounds like the theme or a plugin maybe causing that…
Out of curiosity, are you looking to redevelop the site? Perhaps we can help with that process, if you’re able to migrate the site to WordPress.com. Whilst on WordPress.com, we would be able to troubleshoot the 404 issue you’ve faced.

The site can be migrated using this plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcom-migration/ which is completely automated. :)
The business plan would be needed in order to migrated on to WordPress.com.
As the site can’t export pages, it may be worth migrating the site in it’s entirety to begin with in order to export that.

Apologies for misunderstanding, i said i am not moving site to wordpress.com. I need to move hosting to a new personal server only. For migrating from one personal server to another personal server can you suggest something please?
