  I have accepted my invitation to a private blog named “Not Home Yet” but I can not find the blog.

  Is it a WordPress.com blog? If it is then you would have had a link in the email you received, and clicking on that link would have taken you to your own account on WordPress, and you would sign in from there, using your own password and username.
