Unable to find podcasting option

  I have been looking around, researching and re-checking the settings page in my Dashboard. But I haven’t been able to find the podcasting option at all.
  I am a paid user through Godaddy and hence, I believe I qualify for using it.
  Please update me at the earliest.

  We provide support only for sites hosted on WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum. Know that WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and you can read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Hi there,

  Podcasting is not built into the open source version of WordPress you’re using as it is on WordPress.com. You’ll need to install an appropriate plugin on your site to add that functionality. The forums @timethief linked to above are the best place to ask about that.

  @Kokkieh I recently read this blog by WordPress.COM : https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/podcasting/

  and I am following the step but Podcasting isn’t listed in the settings under writing tab

  I have checked my website and its hosted on WordPress.COM
  This forum is also meant for .com support. hence, I believe I’m posting in the correct place.

  Hello there, Just noting that in the other thread that you started in August, https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-dont-see-the-podcasting-option/#post-3169816 @kokkieh advised that you do not own any sites here on WordPressdotcom and that puneetsurana.com is using the WordPress software and is connected to WordPressdotcom via Jetpack, but that doesn’t make your site hosted here.

  If you are referring to a different website, please give us the address and we’ll take it from there.
