I am a regular blogger on my wordpress site and follow/unfollow other sites on regular basis. But wordpress without any notification or warning disable my follow option. I really want to continue my blog journey but this glitches are really discouraging. Please confirm the reason and advise can this be resolved by any mean. Why wordpress donot give any notification before they just decide to decommission a feature.
Deleting my site and my hard work would something I would never want to do and blogging and writing is the only solace I have.WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No

Hey there,
I am a regular blogger on my wordpress site and follow/unfollow other sites on regular basis.
The system may restrict access to engagement tools if it detects bulk behavior. But if you’re running out of content to read, you can absolutely follow topics in the Reader. Try going to https://wordpress.com/tag/poetry for example — you’ll see a Follow button there. Or you can replace
poetrywith any other topic you’re interested in reading. You can also unsubscribe from any sites you’ve lost interest in.Hoping this helps!

I have not done any bulk behaviour…I just mistakenly moved to jetpack and then it changed my host from wordpress…then I again moved to wordpress..I downloaded jetpack because it was getting recommended…what is my fault…please resolve the issue

Hi, I can see you’ve got several requests open, including private email, so I’ll close this thread and reiterate that we will not re-enable the follow function.
I do want to clarify, though, this is not at all related to changing hosts: the service that allows folks to follow sites in order to read them is not at all related to whether their site is hosted here; some readers don’t have sites at all. You might be thinking of tags in the reader instead. Best!
