Unable to follow blogs (again)

    Hi,

    It looks like my account has once again been identified as a spam account (cf. my previous post here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/unable-to-follow-blogs-4/) because I’m getting the message “Sorry, there was a problem following <X>. Please try again.” when I try to follow blogs.

    Can someone please unblock my account for me?

    Hi there,

    Your account is not being blocked from following blogs.

    The error message you mention does not indicate a block, but indicates that the network request when you click Follow is not getting through from your browser to our servers.

    Please try clearing your browser cache, or check if it works if you use a different browser or internet connection.

    Thank you very much for looking into it.

    You’re right, it was probably an internet connection issue since switching networks worked for me. I’ll keep this in mind in case I face the same issue in the future.

    I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved now!

    Thanks for confirming that worked.

    On your regular network, try rebooting your modem/router by disconnecting its power for a few seconds, then plugging back in. That will clear the device’s cache, which is the most likely cause.
