Unable to generate backup codes

  This week I followed the two step procedure to generate backup codes unfortunately this is not working out for my site. I am unable to generate backup codes since my first encounter with this idea. And now I’m trying to disable generating backup codes, however I’ve been unsuccessful at this and I don’t have any more printed backup codes to access my site. If I logout of my site I won’t be able to sign in again. I desperately want to opt out of this procedure of generating backup codes but am unable. Can anyone offer assistance?

  Good question; does ANYONE know how to disable two-step authentication once it’s been enabled? If it were easy, clearly it would be self-defeating.

  Thanks for your help.
  I am becoming familiar with the Two Step Procedure and now I’m able to generate and print backup codes so I will continue with this.
