Unable to get text tab to show the word processing features or produce text.

    I am unable to write a post because the text tab does not seem to function. Any text written is not visible. The tool bar does not appear either. I have looked for some feature that might enable it, but have failed. I’m at a complete loss for what to do. Please help.
