Unable to get wordpress to reply to incorrect domain upgrade option
-
Hello Happiness Engineers,
I have been contacting wordpress helpdesk for several days to help me modify my domain upgrade option which had an error.
I upgraded my blog to have domain mapping with my domain name – http://www.nusmba.biz
This upgrades destroyed my google app mail server settings and I have to disable the upgrade. I have several sub-domains in my mail server and wordpress doesn’t seem to recognize or allow for having them if we use its DNS manager. I have been trying in vain to seek help to help me setup domain upgrade without destroying my mail server.
Please help
Best regards

We Volunteers on this peer support forum do not provide email support. We can only point to this section of support documentation. Setting Up Email with Google Apps
We If it’s not helpful you must wait until Staff get to your support ticket. When we create a support ticket by contacting Staff it’s important to understand they have a backlog. They deal with the support tickets with the earliest dates first. So if we contact them more than once of the same issue the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help. -
Once you have the domain set as primary, you’ll need to follow this guide to setup Google Apps for Domains: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

Hi Macmanx,
I have set Google Apps before but my problem are following –
1. WordPress won’t let me forward any subdomain to a dynamic IP. For example docs.nusmba.biz should be go to specific location. linkedin.nusmba.biz should be redirected to my linkedIn page.2. I am not sure how to set up MX records for a domain and subdomain simultaneously. I have set up for MX for domain before but confused about doing it for multiple domains.
Best regards
