Unable to hide categories in WP version 5.8.3.

    Hi everyone!

    My problem is simple.
    I am not able to hide certain categories in WP ver. 5.8.3.
    I’ve tried all the plugins (Front Page Category, Ultimate Category Excluder and Collapsing Categories List) and none of them can do what I want them to do. Each time I tried to implement changes non of them didn’t do anything.
    Does that have anything to do with the fact that I’m using the latest version of WP and some plugins are not yet optimized for it or could it be something other than that?

    Currently, you’re posting this at the forums for WordPress.com hosted sites. It looks like your site is hosted and Dreamhost and using the open-source wordpress.org software.

    I would recommend posting these questions at each plugins support thread at WordPress.org, for example for the Front Page Caterogry plugin, this direct link is: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/front-page-category/

    This plugin does say that it has been tested with the latest version, so the developers might be able to help further on why you’re not seeing the changes.
