Unable to import from blogger

  I am unble to import from blogger. have attached the xml file and authorized the wordpress also for import but then after that nothing happens.

  please help.

  If you’re having trouble with the automatic Blogger importer tool, you might try it again using a manual import.

  From here, you will need to fetch your export file from Blogger. Then, in your WordPress.com Dashboard you can go to Tools > Import > Blogger and under “Have a Blogger export file?” find the file on your computer and click on the “Upload file and import” button.

  If that still isn’t working for you, please let me know.

  Thanks. i did the same thing, but once i attach the file it imports but then nothing happens….it such there…didn’t go to next page…don’t know what to do. have deleted cookies, clear all cache file..reinstall browser everything i did but nothing happens. i am using mozilla and crome

  Are you trying to import the blog into mysticfoodiemantra.wordpress.com?

  How large is your export file from Blogger? It’s possible that it’s larger than our importer will allow, and if so, I’ll need to import it on your behalf.

  If you can upload your export file somewhere I can access it, such as Dropbox, I’d be happy to assist you from here.

  yes that’s right. that’s my blog.
  file size is just 98KB. very small file
  I have uploaded the export file on dropbox and here is the link

  It looks like you have downloaded the Template backup file rather than your blog’s export file. That’s why the file is so small and why your import isn’t working properly.

  You will need to download your actual export file.

  From How to export a blog from Blogger:

  To export your blog, simply click “Export Blog” from the Settings | Other tab.
  Then, click the Export Blog button. Your blog will be stored as a Blogger export file (.xml) file which can be kept as a backup on your hard drive or imported into another blog. Exported blogs are not deleted from your dashboard or from Blogger.com.
