Unable to import pictures

  Upon trying to import an image from my library I suddenly find I’m unable to do so. I am not doing anything differently to when I imported the other images. As professional people want to see my work I’m becoming quite, concerned, frustrated and somewhat embarrassed . Can you please help?

  Hi there. What exactly are you trying to do?

  Upon trying to import an image from my library

  Do you mean you’re trying to insert an image already in the media library into a post/page or are you trying to upload an image to the media library from your computer?

  The easiest way to add images is to create/edit your post/page and then clicking the Add Media button in the editor. Then you can either select to upload a new image, or add an image already in the media library.

  If you’re still having problems with this, please let us know exactly what you’re doing and at which point it won’t work.

  Hi,
  Problem now appears to have rectified itself. I think it had something to do with the problem Apple was experiencing with its latest updates. I’m using an I pad. Only thing is now, when I publish the image , it not only is on my WordPress site but is also posted on LinkedIn. Can you make a suggestion to help me keep the images solely on my WordPress site?

  Do you have LinkedIn connected to your blog via Publicize? That’s the only way I know of that your images would auto-post to LikedIn. Go to Settings ->Sharing and cancel the LinkedIn connection and this should stop happening.

  If you want LinkedIn to be connected, you can disable the auto-post for individual posts. While composing the post, look for the Publicize settings and select Edit. Then you should have check boxes where you can specify to which accounts the post should be shared and which not. In the classic editor that option is in the Publish module. In the new editor it’s either under sharing or under Advanced options, but I’m not sure as I don’t use that editor at all.
