Unable to Import XML Document

  Hi,
  I’m trying to import my site post/page/comments from other blog but it’s giving me an ERROR that the file size are big (Size 16MB).

  Please could you help me to solve this ERROR and let me know how I can import my XML Doc to this blog.

  Hi there, the maximum size for an XML file is about 15MB. Are you able to export your other blog in smaller partitions, which you would then be able to import?

  Hello again, where are you exporting from? Does that site give you the option of making smaller export files, by perhaps indicating a date range?

  Hi there,

  As @justjennifer indicated above, you’ll have to split your import into several smaller files. If you’re exporting from another WordPress site you can select to export only posts for a certain date range at a time.

  Otherwise you can search online for an XML splitter app and use that to break your file into smaller pieces instead.
