Unable to install instagram widget

    Hi there! When clicking “authorize Instagram account”, I get a pop up asking if I want to leave this page (and if I do changes will not be saved). If I click “no” nothing happens and I stay on the page, and if I click “yes” it simply refreshes the same page I’m on – with no Instagram widget in site. Feels like I’m in an endless loop.

    Hi!

    Can you try the following?

    1. Login to Instagram.com on your computer
    2. Drag the Instagram widget to your sidebar
    3. Try to authorize the widget

    Normally, this issue is resolved by logging into Instagram first.

    Thanks for your reply. I am currently logged into Instagram on my computer.

    However, the other steps you mention are not options as far as I can see.

    Here’s where I’m at:

    Currently customizing my blog, where the customizer tool bar is visible while also still being able to see my blog.

    I’m clicking on “widgets”>”header widgets area”>”add a widget”.

    I select the instagram widget once I’ve searched for it.

    In the customizer side bar, the only call to actions available are “authorize instagram access”, “delete”, “close”, and “visibility”. When I click on “authorize instagram access”, I get the same issue that I explained before.

    Maybe there’s a different way to install the instagram widget that you’re referring to that is not via the customizer sidebar?
