Unable to install or update plugins.

I have three plugins which I have installed (Elementor, Starter Templates, and WPForms Lite) that are not allowing me to update them. Each time I click Update, the message ‘Update failed: -1’ appears. This is really interfering with my trying to develop my site any further, since I can’t install any other plugins because of this issue (every time I try to install a new one, it tries and fails to update these problem plugins). Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, can you help me?

Hi there,
I noticed that you have quite a bit more than 3 plugins at this point. Were you able to sort out how to add more plugins after making this post? Typically an issue like this is related to a plugin conflict of some kind, but in checking your site I do not see any errors that indicate a conflict.
Were you able to sort this out on your own, or did you need a hand still?

Hey there,
Good news! We’ve fixed the issue.
It looks like the plugin: Starter Templates which is supplied from theme developers, was blocking the updates of plugins, including it’s own, creating an un-updatable loop.
It doesn’t look to be WordPress.com specific and will also affect other WordPress sites, that are with other providers.
Thankfully, we have an internal fix which I’ve just deployed onto: knightpublishingnd.com and so you should be able to update all plugins via Plugins > click Update on a plugin.
Are you able to confirm you were able to do this?
