unable to link square

  I have the error ‘The WP Easy Pay is not connected with your Square account. Use the button below to connect and enable payments through direct Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Master Pass.’ but when I click the button to link them nothing happens. sometimes it seems like it’s going to do something (page glitches/flickers) but then nothing changes and the error and button are still there
