unable to log in

Hi there,
My main account somehow does not let me log in at all. I’ve changed my password multiple times today already, and when I get to the log- in page, it tells me my password is incorrect. When I use my email address instead of user name to log- in, I was told to use username to log in.
I’m confused and frustrated, and there isn’t even a “contact us” page for me to write to. I had to create a whole new account just to post on the forum.
Immediate help would be appreciated!

What is the URL of the WordPress.COM hosted blog you refer to?
Exactly which WordPress.COM username account registered that blog?
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. If you are logged in under another username account then log out and clear your browser cache and cookies.

Thank you so much for your help and the extensive information given, but I am still unable to log in.
Account recovery doesn’t work because my email address remains the same.
I am very almost certain there is an issue with my account specifically, it would be great if someone from WordPress support can get back to me ASAP!
