Unable to log in after a break

Hi,
I’m desperately trying to log into the website I set up last year and have not visited for the last few months, and it seems to have forgotten me, my email and password. The blog is forpeatsake.wordpress.com . I can provide more security information, but what I have entered into the account recovery form hasn’t been accepted, despite having proof of activation and emails coming into the address I specified. Please can you help?

I don’t know what you mean by the account recovery form not being accepted. I do know that there is a backlog of account recovery requests that Staff are working their way through. I also see a matching username account here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/forpeatsake

Are you sure you do not have two username accounts ie. one under forpeatsake that registered the matching blog URL?
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Thanks for your advice, but unfortunately I still don’t have access to forpeatsake even as an Administrator. It’s not under my log-in as a hidden website either. I therefore don’t know who has Administrative rights now to forpeatsake.wordpress.com, but I still get an email when a new person is following the site, coming into my inbox at (email visible only to moderators and staff) – the account I registered the site against. I’ve filled out the account recovery form, so hope to hear about that once the team has got through the backlog. Any further advice you have would be much appreciated though!

It appears that you registered “forpeatsake.wordpress.com” using an email address very similar to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Can you kindly logout from your “lydcole” account and login again as the user “forpeatsake” (w/o quotes)?
