Unable to Log In + Not Receiving Password Reset Emails

but recently we can’t log in — it always says “incorrect password.”
We tried resetting the password multiple times, but we’re not receiving any password reset emails. We’ve checked all possible email addresses connected to the site, including spam/junk folders, but nothing is coming through.
Here’s what we’ve tried so far:
- Attempted password reset using all known admin emails
- Checked spam/junk folders on all email accounts
- Verified that email accounts are active and functioning
- Tried resetting at different times and different devices/browsers
Still no reset email is being sent.
Any guidance on what to check next or how to regain access would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Since your site is self-hosted (WordPress.org), the password reset emails are sent by your hosting server, not here by WordPress.com. If you are not receiving them, it means the email function on your server is likely stuck or blocked.
How to fix this quickly: Since the email reset is failing, the best solution is to contact your Hosting Provider’s support team.
- Ask them to reset the password: They have direct access to your account and can manually reset the administrator password for you.
- Ask to check email logs: While talking to them, mention that your site is not sending emails so they can fix the server configuration.
As a self-hosted user, your hosting support is the only one who can bypass the login screen when emails are not working.

Hi, I do have the same issue, occured in December 25 as well.
My site is a blog hosted by WordPress.org
The blog I need help is veintesizece.wordpress.com; I used to log in with the user “veintesizece”. Hope someone can help in recovering.
