Unable to log in to my WordPress.co account using Assisted Account Recovery

I created this site back in 2009. After a few years I didn’t add any content to the site until 2017, which I had to or was required to reset my log in info. This weekend I am trying to log in as the admin, but my log in does not work. I then tried to use password recovery options but received a message that there was no account with my email. That is an obvious error, as again I and only I have always been the admin and the person who created the site. In addition, I get emails sent from WordPress.com when someone leaves a comment on my site for me to approve, yet again today I received my email has no account associated with it. Any ideas?

You are logged in to the wrong account. Your site bayareamusicscene.wordpress.com is connected to the account bayareamusicscene.
Instead of your email, use the usernamse bayareamusicscene in the recovery form. -
Thank you for your reply. I have tried that as well, but when I did that the next screen said check email. However, no email ever arrived. I actually that a few times thinking maybe it was a glitch, but 24 hours later still no email, not in regular email, spam, nowhere. Any other ideas by chance?

Our record shows that the account with the username bayareamusicscene changed the registered email address three weeks ago. So you may want to check all of your email inboxes to look for the password reset email.
