Unable to log in to my wordpress.com blog sites

  I have two WordPress.com sites, both of which I can view but neither of which I can access on any device to add blogs anymore. I have changed my passwords several times with no luck and I have tried completing the restore site form, again with no luck, it merely asked me to reet my password! I can’t delete the sites as I don’t want to lose the site names. Having searched, it appears there is no way to get any help from WordPress.com unless I fork out and pay for an upgrade, which I am not about to do for a service which does not deliver. So, can anyone out there assist me with my problem?

  What are the URLs starting with http:// ?
  Which username account registered which blog(s)?

  The first site is “Squinting Through The Viewfinder”, username madcoolgran or leonie0357, URL http://leonie0357.wordpress.com
  I can log into the site and access my profile but not the dashboard.
  The second site is “DownT”Allotment”,username Leonie1157, URL http://leonie1157.wordpress.com where I keep getting this message
  “User madcoolgran Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested

  You are logged in as “madcoolgran” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “Down T’Allotment With Suzy And Mad Cool Gran”. If you are not “madcoolgran”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “madcoolgran” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.”
  They were both originally set up via a link from my WordPress.org account using my email account

  The user account madcoolgran does not own or administer either of those sites. So logging in as madcoolgran will not help.

  leonie1157 owns both of those sites. You will need to log in as leonie1157 in order to access any admin functionality.

  I was thinking that because I answer so many of these every day that somehow highlighting the fact that one must be logged in under the same username account that registered the blog in the support docs would be helpful. Or maybe, given the evidence that many bloggers don’t read the docs, it could be includede in the tutorial http://learn.wordpress.com

  I don’t think there is anything wrong with either of those suggestions. I just suspect it wouldn’t lead to a reduction of the number of threads we see. Most people who end up posting here either don’t remember or are confused about having multiple accounts. So even if they knew that they needed to be logged into the right one, I’m not sure that it would solve their issue.

  Still, that’s not a reason to keep that info out of the support docs.
