Unable to log in to wpadmin

Hi I have been away for a couple of months have just today tried to login in to my wpadmin and was given message that the password I use may have been breached on another site so I have to reset it. Sounds simple enough however every time I click reset password and get the email the link then shows up an expired! I’ve clicked it within seconds of receiving. I’m not a techco so need some help on how to solve this very frustrating problem. (I’m using a wordfence plugin if that helps)
