Unable to log into wp-admin to fix Catchable fatal error: Argument 1
-
I mistakenly updated new version of WordPress instead of updating Genesis first and now I am unable to log into my wp-admin to correct. I continue to receive the error message….
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to Genesis_Admin_CPT_Archive_Settings::__construct() must be an instance of stdClass, instance of WP_Post_Type given, called in /home2/tiamarie/public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/admin/menu.php on line 122 and defined in /home2/tiamarie/public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/admin/cpt-archive-settings.php on line 38
I see there is a fix in functions php, however you must be able to log into the account to fix. I can not get passed the error message. I have cleared everything I know to do and nothing seems to help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi
It sounds like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress site, so you’ll want to check with your website hosting company or the self-hosted support forums. This forum only supports WordPress.com sites.
One tip: If you are able to log-in to you site via FTP, you can manually update Genesis, which should fix your issue. You’ll need to log into your Genesis dashboard and download the latest copy of the theme and replace it in your WP-Content/Themes/Genesis folder.
Check out the self-hosted WordPress (also known as WordPress.org) support forum at https://wordpress.org/support/
To learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org (self-hosted), take a look at http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Hope this helps!
