Unable to login to account

    I have been unable to access my account. When I enter my credentials on https://mysite.com/wp-login, it redirects me to the website instead of the dashboard, so I have no access to admin controls. I logged in on wordpress.com/wp-admin with those same credentials, but it’s basically a brand new profile without access to my existing website, but the top left corner says mysite.com and mysite.wordpress.com, like prompts to make a new website with the same or similar domain of my existing website. I also tried logging in on https://login.wordpress.org/wp-login.php, but it doesn’t take my credentials at all.

    I haven’t logged in in several months, so maybe my account was deactivated, but I’ve gone months without blogging in the past, without any issues

    The first thing to note is that your website uses the open-source WordPress software. But it’s not hosted on WordPress.COM’s hosting platform where you are now. Instead, you’re hosting it yourself on Digital Ocean’s servers.

    As such the support team at WordPress.com cannot help you much, as they have no access to your website: they can only support their own customers hosted on their own servers.

    You need to to the official support forum of the WordPress software, which is at WordPress.ORG, for help.

    The second thing to note is that the user account of your own WordPress site https://undeadgoathead.com is not in any way connected to your user account at WordPress.ORG (if any), or WordPress.COM (unless you’re using the JetPack plugin to link the two).

    The right place to go to log in to your own WordPress site is:

    https://undeadgoathead.com/wp-login.php

    If you get any feedback that the username or password you entered is not correct, please use one of the methods outlined in the official WordPress.ORG support article below to reset your password or retrieve the correct username:
