Unable to login to my WordPress

  As a novice to WordPress, I created an account that had my name and then .wordpress at the end. After watching some tutorials I discovered how to create the site properly and not need to include the .wordpress in the url.

  So, I attempted to delete the original account and then created a new account. In this new account, I spent hours starting to put it all together and was making great progress. I logged out at the end of the day and today attempted to log back in to continue working on it.

  However, when I entered my username and password, I was taken to the site I thought I’d deleted. I tried logging in with my email address as the username and the same thing happened.

  When I enter the url in Chrome it comes up as the site I’d been working on, but I can’t figure out how to login to the WordPress Dashboard to keep working on it.

  All ideas, suggestions and advice are very welcome as I am about to pull my hair out over this!!

  Hope you did not need to pull out your hair ;-).

  You asked your question a few weeks ago. Where you able to figure things out?

  I tried to access http://kimwoolard.wordpress.com. It shows as deleted so you are half way there. Have you been able to get your new site to work?
