Unable to login to the desktop site

  I’m able to use my mobile app, but for some reason I can’t log on to the desktop site. I’ve tried resetting my password, I get the reset email, go through the steps, but then it says my password doesn’t match. I tried resending the activation email, but it asks if my email is the one I signed up with… but I’ve been getting the reset password emails…

  I just want to log in!

  I reviewed the gingerlilyoc WordPress.com account, and it appears to be activated when I check. Can you please tell me the exact error message you are seeing?

  i can't logon on the computer, so i'll try and reply hereit just keeps saying that my log in has failed. I tried the password i had, i even tried resetting my password with your generated password, but it still doesn't like that. so i'm a wee bit frustrated.

  It sounds a little to me like you might have a WordPress setup that is separate from WordPress.com.

  Is this the address where you see the “log in has failed” error?

  yes, it does seem that i have the wordpress.org as i started the blog from the wordpress app. i've been poking around on the support boards, came across this one https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpressorg-login and even with trying that i still can't get in.

  Note: those instructions are only for self-hosted WordPress.org setups like the one you have and users here at WordPress.com do not have the same degree of control you do over the code.

  Because you are not setup at WordPress.com, you will need to ask for future help at http://wordpress.org/support/ or from your web hosting company directly since your blog is not setup here at WordPress.com.
