Unable to make blog Primary

I had a blog hosted in WordPress.com,
and have linked an external blog.
Recently,
I deleted the blog in WP.com,
which automatically made my external blog into primary.
I remade a new blog here (Wp.com).Now here’s the problem,
the external blog is long inactive,
there is no way I can access it anymore (deleted domain and hosting).
I can’t delete it,
and I can’t make my newly registered blog as primary as well.
I clicked the radio button,
and it just keep loading.
I think it has something to do with the linked blog.
It there any way to solve it?

Jeez,
been looking for two days,
but found that there is another way of changing primary (not the radio button).
Finally I changed it under personal settings.
Sorry for the trouble.
