Unable to make Mailchimp's subscriber popup appear

    Hello.
    I just subscribed to Mailchimp and I’m trying to create my mailing list’s subscriber pop-up. I’m copy/pasting the code given to me by Mailchimp in the widgets area, but wordpress changes the original code into the following:

    [mailchimp_subscriber_popup baseUrl='mc.us16.list-manage.com' uuid='bda18c21e8172ddb247d8b04d' lid='08db8855e8' usePlainJson='true' isDebug='false']

    When I check to see if the pop-up works from another computer, the pop-up doesn’t appear.
    My knowledge on such things is minimal and I’m on wordpress free plan.

    Howdy mazanostra!
    Are you making sure while adding it to the Widget Area you choose the MailChimp Popup Widget, here is the guide again, just cross check if the steps are correctly followed, Mail Chimp
    If you still face the issue, just copy the Code you get from Mail Chimp and the Code which the Widget generates here.
    We can report the bug if needed.

    Hi pavanraheja,

    Yeah, those were the guidelines I followed. Still doesn’t work.
    Mailchimp gives me this code:

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.js” data-dojo-config=”usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false”></script><script type=”text/javascript”>require([“mojo/signup-forms/Loader”], function(L) { L.start({“baseUrl”:”mc.us16.list-manage.com”,”uuid”:”bda18c21e8172ddb247d8b04d”,”lid”:”08db8855e8″}) })</script>

    And the widgets changes the above on its own into this:

    [mailchimp_subscriber_popup baseUrl='mc.us16.list-manage.com' uuid='bda18c21e8172ddb247d8b04d' lid='08db8855e8' usePlainJson='true' isDebug='false']

    @mazanostra it pops up here after several seconds. Can you test in an incognito browser window?
