Unable to make posts private

  I recently bought a domain name on wordpress which I currently have private blogs under. Before purchasing the .com name, I was able to type blogs and set them to private before publishing them. However, when I click on the “edit” button to select private, it doesn’t work. The “edit” button for publishing date also doesn’t work.

  I also get this message on the dashboard of my main page:
  “It looks like you’re using an insecure version of Internet Explorer. Using an outdated browser makes your computer unsafe. For the best WordPress experience, please update your browser.”

  I’m not sure if this could be a virus, or is it a genuine message that I need to update my browser? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

  The issue is likely because you are using an older version of IE. I would encourage you to update. Or, perhaps give Firefox or Chrome a try.

  This was exactly the problem. As soon as I updated my IE version, everything worked perfectly again.
