Hi there,
Firstly, I want to assure you that your site, uyemhinemeso.wordpress.com, is publicly visible.
Regarding the error message you’re seeing, can you let me know which address (URL) you’re visiting when you encounter this error? This will help me pinpoint the issue more accurately.
In the meantime, sometimes, browsers store old versions of pages (cached pages), which can cause such issues. I recommend clearing your browser’s cache to ensure you’re viewing the most up-to-date version of the site. Here’s a simple guide to clearing browser cache: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
Please try this and let me know if the problem persists.

Hello, when I check the site, it still says coming soon. Can you see the same?
this is the address I am visiting https://wordpress.com/start/launch-site/domains-launch?siteSlug=uyemhinemeso.wordpress.com&source=general-settings&hide_initial_query=yes
I have cleared my browser cache and tried other browsers as well but it’s the same

How is it that you are visiting that address? You are starting from a specific place in your admin dashboard (where you work on the site) to be take to that URL?
Can you walk us through the steps you are taking? Also what if you simply visit https://uyemhinemeso.wordpress.com/ via this direct link? Are you able to see the site this way?
If not, I see you are using Chrome, what if you open an Incognito Window and try to visit https://uyemhinemeso.wordpress.com/ (not the long URL you shared) via Incognito. Does the site load for you if you try that?
Thanks for the additional info!

Here is a video on Loom explaining my process https://www.loom.com/share/f474d7dadcea4bffa4cf6601a78fc82c?sid=e6303755-87b8-47c4-8b0d-89874c504685
When I visit the site, it just says coming soon
I’ve cleared chrome cache, same issue

I tried on Mozilla, the same thing

Ah, apologies for the confusion. If you are logged into your WordPress.com account (and an admin on the site) you are able to see it without issue. Staff is able to see it as well.
However, your site is not actually launched yet. When it’s first created it’s placed in “coming soon” mode by default. But you can launch it anytime by clicking the button found on this page: https://wordpress.com/settings/general/uyemhinemeso.wordpress.com
Once on that page scroll until you see this option:

Follow the steps on your screen after you click that, and the site will be accessible to the public without issues.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi there, I’m guessing you may have gotten stuck when asking if you wanted a custom domain (which I do definitely recommend) and did not see the option to skip.
I’ve launched the site on your behalf and it will now be visible to anyone that visits it.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi @staartmees looks like I was launching it when you were checking. Thanks for the assist!
