Unable to make text format for 'Front Page' 'Menu' shown in English.

Hello:) Can anyone help me with my difficulty in making all the text on my web page into English? At the moment, the text ‘Front Page’ appears to be ‘首页’ while ‘Menu’ appears to be ‘菜单’. The rest of the pages are in English. I thought this problem was created when I tried to build the web pages with the international language setting on my pad mini being in Chinese. But after changing the international language setting on my pad mini back into English, the problem remains the same. I shall appreciate so much if anyone here can enlighten me how to solve the problem. Have a great day! Angel

Can you tell me exactly where the Chinese characters for “Front Page” and “Menu” are appearing? I’m not sure I’m looking in the right place.
But, the footer text (and maybe the others you mentioned) can be changed to English by changing your blog’s language under Settings > General:

I followed your advice and the text are all shown in English now. I wish I could invite you for some lovely Chinese tea from my little tea selections of more than twenty types of supreme quality in Gong Fu Tea style but I guess you are based in US while I am in UK.

I do have some other questions regarding building the website.
1) if I need to change the theme, would I lose all the pages of content under the menu and have to start to make each page from scratch?
2) Would you be able to recommend theme that would enable me to have ecomence funtion available on my site?

Nope! All of your content will still be there! Depending on the theme you’re changing from or to, you may need to update your Custom Menus though:
