Unable to MANUALLY put Google Adsense on blog – HTML Editor unlocalizable
-
So after reading articles that can help, it seems WordPress deliberately has disabled the ability for content creators to add code in the <head></head> section, thus obliging us to pay a monthly retainer just to access these functions? Correct? No other method to add my Google Adsense code and monetise WITHOUT paying???
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t put Google Adsense code on a wordpress.com site unless you upgrade to the Business Plan. However on the Premium Plan you can earn money from Wordads.

Hi @afrokripto
Custom codes like ad code can be added to site’s header either using a plugin or by creating a child theme. Both these options are features of WordPress.com Business plan, so you can upgrade to WordPress.com Business plan if you plan to run Google Ads on the site.
Also, kindly note that there are other ways to monetize a site that you can check here https://wordpress.com/support/monetize-your-site/I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions, as we would be happy to assist you further.
