unable to migrate my site to hosting on GoDaddy due to plugins
-
I am the admin and do not intent to upgrade to a business account. I had an issue with my site because the theme I was using (Goran) is no longer supported. I was able to rebuild my site and WordPress prompted me to update my plugins earlier today, which I did, however, I am now unable to access the plugin management site without upgrading.
All I want to do is delete all my plugins so that I can migrate the updated site (with the new theme) back to its proper hosting on GoDaddy so that my SSL certificate will display properly.
Apparently following WordPress’ prompt to update all plugins somehow circumvented my account restrictions on plugins and reactivated all of them. Perhaps it was grandfathered in as I had been using these plugins since 2014.
Currently, I can forward the site in question ‘rentgreenfield.wordpress.com’ to the GoDaddy domain ‘rentgreenfield.com’ but errors are occurring on GoDaddy’s side of the migration due to the plugins interfering, presumable Jetpack being the main culprit.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
What exactly is the error you’re seeing, and where are you seeing it?
rentgreenfield.wordpress.com is a free WordPress.com site that cannot use plugins, so it’s impossible that you’d be seeing any messages regarding plugins on that site, nor can you delete plugins from that site, as it doesn’t have any.
The only way to migrate a WordPress.com site to another hosting provider is by generating a WordPress export file at My Site ->Tools ->Export:
You’ll then import that to your new site after you have installed the open source WordPress software on your hosting plan with GoDaddy.
The site at rentgreenfield.com is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, just connected here via the Jetpack plugin. We have no control over how that site works.
