unable to pay as international usage disabled

  Hi! The international usage of my debit card is disabled and I don’t want to enable it. Is there another way to pay with me being in India? Thanks!

  Purchases on WordPress.com can be done in several ways other than credit card: https://wordpress.com/support/payment/

  WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment option: https://wordpress.com/support/payment/#payments-using-a-pay-pal-account

  So I can make all my payments using my debit card except if the service provider is located outside India. Last I used it was to renew a domain with godaddy. What are they doing differently?

  After repeated failed attempts at trying to book a domain name through WP I gave up. I got the domain name through godaddy using the same debit card. I think the payment gateway needs to be processed locally.

  Thank you for updating us. Our merchant processor (Stripe) is still working to implement RBI’s recent changes… actually this seems to affect a lot of online retailers, not just WordPress.com.

  With this in mind payments may not be processed on this end but we’re working with our providers to resolve as soon as possible. In the meantime if you have any further issues please don’t hesitate to let us know, thanks!
