Unable to pay for upgrade

    Hi,

    I notice that there are numerous posts on this topic already but I’m hoping for a WordPress staff to look into this as I’ve explored most of the posted ‘solutions’. I want to upgrade my blog to the premium plan, and I’ve also added domain registration and privacy protection to the cart. I’ve filled in all the fields correctly, and tried both “Paypal” and “Credit card” payment options but both do not work.

    The “Paypal” method logs me into Paypal and when I click “Pay”, it takes me back to the WordPress home page, and my blog is not upgraded. The cart shows that there are still 3 items, and when I click on it, I have to go through the whole payment process again. I’ve tried this at least 3 times and this is the first time I’m having issues paying with Paypal.

    The “Credit card” method won’t even allow the transaction to occur. Again I’ve tried this numerous times.

    I’ve not received any email confirmation that my blog is upgraded so I assume that the payment hasn’t gone through. Plus, I’ve tried to go to my new blog address, and that doesn’t work. I don’t think it’s a bank account issue as it is not empty, and I live in the UK so it’s not a country issue either. Please look into this asap, I really do hope I’m not being charged multiple times for this!

    I intentionally left out my blog address here for privacy reasons.

    Just to update, I’m no longer using wordpress.com as I’ve decided to go for .org.

    Thanks, I hope it gets resolved for anyone out there that has the same problem.

    I am sorry that you had difficulties purchasing your upgrades from us.

    Do you happen to remember if you received any error notifications while attempting the purchase? That would be helpful as we look into the cause of your transaction not going through.

    Yes their was 2 times, after the third time the transaction went trough

    Hi Darnell – I have the same problem as 111asd222fgh333 describes above – the error notification is that I have to try with an other creditcard. I have tryed both visa and mastercard and paypal – nothing works – what to do? The blog is our school staff information blogg – it is essential for our whole organisation – it has to work. I know that I am late with the payment – but not to late accordning to the expiring date.
