Unable to post & blog

  Hi, only a few days ago I realized after logging in, I’m unable to add new post, nor log out. Infact no other options, not even keying in this forum topic. Tried clearing the cache, restart browser & computer, all doesnt work. All it shows is an error message on TIMEOUT etc on both chrome & IE. Funny thing is that all works fine on my mobile device, as like this thread was done using iphone on 3G data. Any advice pls?

  A timeout like the one you have mentioned indicates a possible bad internet connection or that the connection is being interrupted somehow along the way. Could you tell us what part of the world you are blogging from? Could you please let us know your IP address and provide a traceroute?

  You can find your IP address here: http://www.whatismyip.com/

  To do a traceroute on Windows:

  1. Go to Start → Run.
  2. Type “cmd” and press Enter.
  3. Type in tracert YOUR_DOMAIN and press Enter.
  4. We are looking for anything that shows a large number of timeouts. If you see anything like that, copy and paste the results into a reply here.

  * Replace YOUR_DOMAIN with your wordpress.com domain name.

  To do a traceroute on a Mac:

  1. Go to Applications → Utilities → Network Utility.
  2. Click the Traceroute option at the top.
  3. Type in the domain that is not working for you and hit Enter.
  4. Look for anything that shows a large number of timeouts. If you see anything like that, copy and paste the results into a reply here.
