Unable to post – 'include URL' editor behavior changed?

  I used to be able to post with the visual editor, but now it giving me what looks like an inclusion of the whole article (or an article precis) when I give it a URL. How do I get back to editing sanity? I’ve never seen this mode before and I can’t find a way to turn it off. :(

  PS: The HTML editor still works, but the point of using WP is to get me past that level of detail and let me concentrate on posting. Has the WP programs been changed or is it me doing something accidentally? (This process has always worked before.)

  I still don’t know what I might have mis-clicked on, but after posting via the HTML page, I discovered the fix for it – deleting the default post’s formatting on the visual page.

  From there, everything worked. (Now if only the WP app did that on my system!) ;)
