Unable to post my blog

    I have no idea why, but it seems my blogs are all being deleted before I can publish them, reason objectionable content? Same thing happening on FB. Please advise

    If FB reject your content, you must contact to solve this problem.
    Wordpress.com doesn’t delete posts. The letest posts I can see on your site https://irishroversbooks.wordpress.com/ are: Nuclear power posted on December 28, A Little Christmas Humour posted on decemeber 25, The term “Happy Holidays”?.? posted on december 24.

    I have already tried to explain. On 28th Dec I post Nuclear Power, when I published part of the blog was missing, there was no way I could edit or replace missing text. Today 29th Dec I wrote a new blog “letter to the editor” when I attempted to post a message popped up “unacceptable content, and the post disappeared. I posted it FB then paste and copy to my web site. Need help

    Hi @irishroverpei,

    Do I understand correctly that you write your posts on Facebook and then copy the content and paste it to the editor on WordPress.com?
    If so, you’re likely copying something more than just text, and that does not paste correctly.

    If I misunderstood, please walk me through your process of adding a post. I’d need to know what exactly are you doing, what error do you see, and when exactly. Thanks!

    This morning, 30th Dec at 7.45 am I attempted a test post. Added title and said trying to post on my blog in message block. When I attempt to publish the following message appears. On left side of page, “ this blog contains unexpected or invalid content. On right side of page, “ Attempt blog recovery” when I click this the blog disappears leaving only the title.

    In reference to FB, yesterday when I couldn’t post my blog, I wrote it on FB and published, then copied and pasted to my blog.

    Does the error perhaps say “block” rather than “blog”?

    How did you create the test post? Did you write the content directly in the editor, or did you paste it in from somewhere else?

    If you copy-pasted it in from somewhere else, that error indicates you copied over some code that the editor can’t process.

    To prevent this, either write your post directly in the editor from the start, or else after you copy it, first paste it into a plaintext editor like Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on MacOS, then copy it again from there before pasting it into the post editor.
