Unable to post through Blog Posters

  On trying to post to my WordPress blog: http://madhavgopalkrish.wordpress.com/ I get the following message:

  “The API at the URL appears not to exist…XML Response: XML-RPC is currently disabled”.

  May be that this one is only for the Woordpress geeks to set right, but since the Support appears to be on vacation I am airing the problem in the Forum. Just in case…!

  If you do a search for XML you’ll find that many, many people have reported it over the past couple of days. WordPress.com disabled the XML-RPC for some reason and they said they were working on it. Looks like they haven’t finished.

  XMLRPC was disabled for a few hours, but has been back on for a few days. Are you still receiving this message if you try again?

  Yes barry. I still do. Recieving the message: “The API you entered appears not to exist.Please make sure that you have the correct URL and try again”. Try again after checking up the URL I did,but to no avail. Obviously the problem now is solely AP- related and not probably with XML disabling or one confounded with both.

  Hi hanni, I use Scribefire as well as Diigo add-ons in Firefox, which have been performing without this problem till lately.
