Unable to preview, save draft or publish

  I’m trying to create a new post on wordpress, which looks fine in both visual and html modes. Saving draft or publish appear to suggest that it has been successful. Publish also returns success status. However, no post is actually created and I get a 404 error when trying to preview the “successfully” created page. No entry is actually created.

  Tried using chrome (also with clearing cache and cookies) and now with firefox (also with cookies and cache cleared). I don’t have a clue what may be happening. Any advise appreciated!
