Unable to publish a draft. I am a free user and have no option to post available

    As a free user of WordPress, I completed a draft recently only to find there is not an option at the top of the page to publish. I have checked the All Users drop down link and I am the administrator….I think. There is no way to alter what it says there. I have used the AI option for help and they simply say to empty my history cache. I think I am being shunted to paying for an upgrade. I am frustrated.

    Hey there,

    Did you, by any chance, edit a template instead of a page/post? Because you can only save templates. If you’re sure you’re editing a page/post. You can also publish it by navigating to the intended page/post, select the Quick Edit option underneath it., and choose Published to update. https://imgur.com/ptvSyWt
