Unable to publish post immediately

  After done my draft, there is a publish setting with option to keep the post as draft (default), publish it immediately, or scheduled to be published at future time. I chose to publish it immediately, then click the Publish button. However, this always move my post status from Draft to Scheduled. Even if I navigate to the Scheduled section and click on Publish button for the post again, it will still

  Even if I navigate to the Scheduled section and click on Publish button for the post again, it still remains as Scheduled. This is kind of annoying. Any clue what might have went wrong? Thanks.
