Unable to publish web page

  Hi Guys, Complete dummy here :( Trying to start a web page for my local Lawn Bowls Club for the other oldies. I have a host, domain name and downloaded wordpress. Started building my site, just, but every time I try to view page I get, Index of, cgi-bin/ next line is wp/ If I click on wp/ I go to a sort of site but I cant change anything but header and colours. I realise I am an old fart but I must be doing something stupid as WordPress is supposed to be easy. I have watched 1 1/2 hr youtube movies, followed them to the letter but as soon as I try to get to say, any pages I made it does not work. Just goes back to the front page. I do mnot know codes etc so is there someone out there in OZ to help ???

  You may want to mention your site URL next time in the forums.

  but I am in fact not self hosting, I am using Fluccs Australia, my URL is barmerabowlingclub.com but as you will find it is not publishing. That is one of the problems but seeing the class of replies I am receiving from the helpful members I might as well chuck it in.

  Looking at your site, http://barmerabowlingclub.com/wp/, looks like you have given WordPress a directory(/wp) of its own, but the settings are not quite right yet. Hence you are seeing the page not found errors.
  You may want to check this support document and follow the instructions to get it fixed. https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

  Thanks my friend, just a little (lot) frustrated as I am not very comp literate. :)
  Just to clear up, what is the difference between .org and .com forums, and how do you tell the difference. I guess also, which one am I :)
